My name is Irina, I am from Ukraine. I arrived in Estonia on March 9th 2022 after the start of the war in my country. As it happens my husband has been already living in Estonia since August 2021.
First of all, I want to say HUGE THANKS to Estonia in general and to people who helped me and my child a lot in the beginning of our stay here!
I came to Estonia with a diagnosis and interrupted treatment. Upon arrival, the people and doctors who were helping me responded very quickly and my treatment was resumed. All the necessary procedures and surgery took a little over a year. THANK YOU! Estonia saved my life!
Our project is:
UniqueTitaniumArt is a family business producing titanium handmade jewelry. My husband Yuri Kosterin and I work with titanium using two different techniques.
Our buisness became official in 2016 but when the war started I had to suspend our project and our work. And our store on American marketplace had to switch to a long-term vacation mode. And so the situation turned out, that due to the state of my health, our work had to stop for more than one year. Now I'm forced to start it all from the beginning again.
Our dream is to restart our business in good faith and to share our love for titanium with the world. For this we really need your help!
The uniqueness of our technology:
Our technique is very different from others. For example, artistic TIG-welding involving titanium in the production of jewelry, involves only 3 people in the world. In total, this method is known to 7 people. My (Irina) technology is cold forging, used by several manufacturers, but my work is performed very differently.
To revive the conscientious activity of manufacturing titanium jewelry, we really need your help:
- Registration of a company (OÜ), purchase of card terminals, passing two courses (Occupational Safety and Health Care) - 725 euros. (Necessary for high-quality official activities in Estonia and in the European Union.)
- Very important for us! Transportation of the remaining necessary tools from Ukraine (heavy weight and volume) – 450 euros.
- Also very important! Purchase of the necessary material (special grade titanium) for conscientious work - 875 euros.
- Creation of our own online store – 300 euros. (Necessary for a complete restart of our activities.)
- Purchase of used office equipment and furniture for fairs and exhibitions – 150 euros.
Why titanium?
Titanium is from the planet Uranus! The metal TITANIUM corresponds to the planet Uranus, the sign of Aquarius and the 11th house ("I know").
My husband and I were both born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius and are also ruled by the planet Uranus. That means we are very in tune with titanium and the energy of the planet.
Some of the keywords of Uranus: unexpected ideas, future, aviation, new, unconventional, electricity, revolution, unification, technological progress, astrology, nanotechnology, universal, democratic, publicly accessible, human society, algorithm, science.
Properties and advantages of titanium:
- Hypoallergenic properties. Very suitable for those who cannot wear items made of other metals.
- Durable and long-lasting (wear resisting).
- Unique design (bright color, unusual shapes).
- Light and comfortable - very light weight with a massive shape.
- Discoloration of color. Natural color – silver-ish (slightly darker than silver). By exposure to high temperature, it is possible to achieve tarnishing of colors: dark yellow, light yellow, violet (magenta), blue, cyan, dark lilac, inclusions of green, a mixture of all colors.
- Environment-friendly material. Does not darken over time, does not leave marks on the body (anti-corrosion properties).
