The Chamber Choir of the University of Tartu has already been enriching the Estonian cultural landscape with its music for forty five years. However, this year's birthday will be celebrated in a particularly special manner by breathing new life into Tartu Raadi aircraft hangar (Roosi 83) on 14th, 18th, 21stand 22nd of May with a play "Südamepeitjate planeet" (The Planet of Those Who Hide Their Hearts) written by Kristiina Ehin for the choir's birthday and which is based on a traditional Estonian fairytale. By combining choir music and dance we will together try to solve the question of what one should do with their heart in today's world full of contrasts and constant race.
"Südamepeitjate planeet" will be played in Raadi aircraft hangar, which industrial atmosphere will carry the many motives concluded into the play. Unfortunately the hangar is not quite ready to host the play just yet. The benefits gained from the project will be used for lighting equipment and stage layout elements which will turn the old hangar into an exceptional stage.
Forces will be joined by:
director Jaanus Tepomees

artist Kristina Lõuk
lighting artist Priidu Adlas
video artist Svetlana Bogomolova
