NPO Noblasulps is a cummunity based winter swimming club. Our mission is to provide and develop winter swimming facilities and tradition. We got started in 2018 when the first ladder was installed at the Port of Noblessner. The NPO Noblasulps was registrated in 2021 and later that year the first dressingrooms and sauna facilities were established. We have given over 20 First Sulps Trainings and in total over 7000 people have dipped into the cold water with us.
Sadly we were not able to continue at port of Noblessner this year. The reason is extensive construction at the location. We really are devoted to offer the best possible opportunities for swimming for our friends. Thus we have decided to open a new swimming location at the Seaplane Harbor. The new location will be named "Lennusulps". At Noblasulps we rented the facilities. Now however, we need to build our own sauna. To make this happen, we need the help of all our dear friends.
Noblasulps season opening party 2021 fall.
Lennusulps is a community effort to provide a chance for free winter swimming and dressing rooms and a sauna for a small fee. The availability of dressing rooms and a sauna makes the barrier of entry smaller for new swimmers and this way it is safer as well. Lennusulps is enriching the local community and supporting healthy lifestyle.
Lennusulps project is supported by three awesome companies: Saunum, Cocon.life and Tele2. In addition to their support we have started this campaign to fundraise the remaining amount. We need every one of you in Noblasulps community to pitch in. Together we will build the most awesome winter swimming location in Estonia.
If we are successful with this fundraising campaign then we will be able to open Lennusulps already before Christmas this year. Lennusulps season will last until the end of April.
Lennusulps is going to be here.
Free parking is available 50 meters from the location.
Lennusulps location at the Seaplane Harbor. Suur Tõll (an icebreaker) will make sure we will have access to the water no matter what!
Lennusulps new facilities are composed of 3 buildings. These are respectfully set as the goals of this fundraising campaign in order of priority.
- Sauna (15 000€)
- Dressing rooms (8000€)
- Baywatch house (7000€)
Lennusulps sauna.
Lennusulps Sauna is the primary and the first goal for this fundraising campaign of 15 000 euros. The sauna will be specially designed for winter swimming needs. Its hot room will fit up to 20 people. The walls will be insulated properly to keep the energy costs down. The sauna will be constructed using a Finnish type of container chassy, making it wider than normal containers. The overall dimentions will be 3,3*7,2m. The sauna will be heated up by Saunum. With years of experience building small portable high quality houses, Cocon.life is going to build the Lennusulps sauna.
Dressing rooms.
The second set goal for the campaign is an additional 8000€, enabling us to buy out the container necessary for dressing room facilities. The container has dimensions of 3,3*9m. Buying out this unit (instead of renting it) will enable us to add modifications, improvements and most importantly design it so that it would fit the Seapleane Harbor atmosphare.
Baywatch house.
The third set goal for the campaign is an additional 7000€, enabling us to buy out the container for administrative purposes. To operate a winter swimming club, one must sell tickets and have a place to run the club. We need a place to store all the equipment such as snow shovels and cleaning equipment. With more extra space we will be able to do breathing sessions during our First Sulps Training program.
The first campaign goal for the sauna is a must have. If it happens that we will not make the 2nd or 3rd campaign goal, we will still be able to start Lennusulps by renting the necessary containers. However, it will not look as pretty and we will have more running expenses. This also will not allow us to improve the containers as they will be rented.
Magical snow to swim in from last year. We want to make this magic happen again at Seaplane Harbor.
