Hey there,
We are Kannabinõid, a trio from Estonia, made up of us: – Taniel Tegelmann and Jerl Norden on the guitars and bass, and Mihkel Rebane mastering the drums and percussion. Our sound is a seamless blend of doom, psychedelic rock, and ambient tones, creating something we feel is truly unique and powerful.
Over the years, we've released two studio albums, and our specific approach to heavy music has earned us considerable praise in the Baltic music scene.
Our most recently published album, "3", is a successor to our 2016 album "Troon", which had a very positive reception. "3" went on to achieve great heights, being honored as the Best Metal Album at the Estonian Music Awards in 2020.
We've had the privilege to take our music across borders, touring extensively throughout the Baltics and Europe. To name a few milestones in our journey: headlining the metal stage at the esteemed Tallinn Music Week festival, hitting the Popskull festival stage in Lithuania, and recent experience of one of the biggest metal festivals in the Baltics – Kilkim Žaibu. Our music is our story, and we're excited to continue sharing it with the world.
We are thrilled to share that we are set to release our next album this year! Our next album features eight new songs, and we've already completed the recording process at Tartu Clockwork Stuudio.
In our quest for the best possible sound, we have chosen to mix and master our album at the renowned Studio Kekkonen in Finland. Their reputation for successful collaborations with esteemed alternative genre artists like Vesa-Matti Loiri, Topi Saha, and Oranssi Pazuzu inspires us. We believe this collaboration will push the boundaries of our sound and the overall Estonian metal music scene to new levels.
We plan to release this album in October 2023, but the road to this release is financially challenging. The overall cost of the album will be around 7,000€, which includes recording, mixing, mastering, printing vinyls, and running a promotional campaign. To realize this ambitious project, we need your support.
Your contributions will not only help us cover some of the costs of this project, but they will also play a crucial role in shaping the future of Estonian metal music. Once we reach our initial target, any additional funds will be used to print vinyls and bolster our promotional campaign for the album.
To show our immense gratitude for your support, we are delighted to offer you an exclusive pre-listening experience. You will get to hear the new album before its official release on an online platform, giving you a sneak peek into our latest musical exploration.
Your support means the world to us, and we can't wait to share our new sounds with you!
