In a world where everyone has invisible cracks within, the main character of this animated film confronts the deepest aspects of his soul. Shattered like a mirror, he symbolizes the trauma that has become an integral part of his existence. Within his chest, where everything once precious to him has been lost, lies emptiness.
The film unfolds the story of the protagonist, who has lost his family and finds himself alone in a battle with his own demons. Finding no support from society or loved ones, he becomes a prisoner of his own home, sinking into the depths of alcohol and drugs. The title 'The Crack' not only becomes a metaphor for his broken body but also signifies his drug addiction.
However, at the darkest moment when he decides to conclude his story, something unexpected happens. The film's narrative is flipped, and we realize that we were actually watching a film within the film. This twist not only changes the course of the plot but also the stylistic approach of the film, delivering an important message to the audience: even from the most painful experiences, something valuable can be extracted. Despite everything, the main character learns to turn his cracks into art, using his trauma as a source of inspiration.
