Several years ago, the Museum of Football History in Jõhvi created a memorial stand dedicated to the legendary athlete Tõnu Eapost. Now we aim to take the next important step — to install a bronze bust near the Ice Hall in Kohtla-Järve. The bronze bust and stone pedestal will be created by Ukrainian sculptor Eldaniz Gurbanov.

The Jõhvi Museum of Football History was opened in 2020 on the initiative of local residents (Vladislav Naumov and Sergei Ivanov) and coincided with the 100th anniversary of football in Jõhvi. Over the years, the museum’s collection has grown with many football-related exhibits. These have been contributed both by local residents and football enthusiasts from other parts of Estonia, and there are also gifts from abroad. The museum is located in Jõhvi at Jaama 6.
