Hello, dear friend! I am Karoliine-Lisette Kõiv, my artist name is Tidi, and we have almost finished our second record with my band. Our album will be called "tule nagu oled" and it will feature five songs in Estonian and English that I wrote while living in Portugal. These songs are about a young person's self-discovery, love and its problems, the silent pressure of society and finally finding one's own inner peace. "tule nagu oled" carries a special charged energy and message that becomes clear immediately when you hear the music. We have worked very hard and we really want to bring our new songs to the listeners! The design for the short album "tule nagu oled" is made by our good friend designer Sanna Maria Rink, in addition to helping with the artistic side and singles, Tartu-based artist Saskia Vällik, who also makes an 8-bit music video for us and also offers gifts to the hooandja! We recorded the album at Ö Studio in Tartu with Martin Kikas, and the album is mixed by Erki Paju. We are planning the album release concerts in Tallinn, Tartu and Viljandi, and if the weather is good and we have the opportunity, we will also travel abroad for the first time (!) - to Finland, where we will present the album there with our friends from our northern neighbors. In terms of genre we classify ourselves as progressive indie musicians. Our band uses instruments and timbres such as violin and string arrangements, acoustic guitar, baritone ukulele and electric guitar, polyphonic singing, piano, fretless bass guitar, drums and all kinds of rhythm instruments full of twists. We need support and momentum to cover the album production costs such as mixing and mastering, album design and printing, and to organize an awesome album launch concert tour. We will release the album on May 2nd. We will deliver the gifts to the fans at the album launch concerts, hand-to-hand if possible, but also by mail. For us, music is like breathing and we wholeheartedly want to share with the world the songs and melodies that have grown within us. Sincerely, Tidi & bande
