Let's Do It! World Cleanup needs your support and good vibes to make the world a cleaner place! Estonia is a small country located in the North of Europe by the Baltic Sea.
Even though small, we have been able to begin great, powerful and (maybe even) unbelievable things.
Skype, the bloodless singing revolution and song and dance celebrations beginning in the 1860s are just a few examples. We have managed to unite people for positive causes throughout the centuries.
In 2008, another positive idea was born by an initiative group that realised that Estonia faces the problem of tons and tons of illegal trash left on roadsides, forests and places where it does not belong. The group started a movement called “Teeme Ära!” - "Let's Do It!" and set an ambitious plan to clean up all the illegal trash of Estonia in one day!
Around 50,000 people (4% of the population) came together to remove 10,000 tons of illegal rubbish from roadsides, forests and towns, cleaning up the entire country in just five hours. Under normal circumstances it would have taken the government three years and 22,500,000 Euros to clean the same amount of illegal garbage, but it was done for 500,000 euros and in only one day. By today, more than over 160 different cleanup actions, engaging a total of more than 8,2 million volunteers, have taken place.
Over 100 countries have so far joined the Let’s Do It! network.

The team that makes up this international network work consists of volunteers. In order to keep the dream alive and reach the clean world we need your help! It's not just a clean world we strive for, but also the awareness that active citizens feel they CAN make a difference and DO something to make it happen! That's what Let's Do It! is all about!
