Children's Book Series "Friends Around the World"

Friends Around the World is a book series created for children aged 3–7, introducing countries and cultures through local children, photos and simple sentences. It was born during our 10-week trip through 10 countries. The aim is to spark curiosity, empathy and to broaden their worldview. The first books introduce Estonia, Portugal, Croatia.

Mari-Ann Meigo Fonseca is a mother of two, a startup entrepreneur, an active community member, a big fan of travel and cultural diversity, and a supporter of Montessori principles. Her experiences with motherhood, entrepreneurship, and travelling inspired her to create the book series “Friends Around the World”, with the aim of broadening children’s worldview and sparking their interest in different cultures.
